Volunteer Open Day

24 February 2017
Volunteer Open Day

Sunday 5th March - 12pm – 4pm

Do you love cats? Have you considered volunteering but don’t know where to start? Then why not start with us!

Join us at the National Cat Centre in Chelwood Gate on Sunday 5th March for the opportunity to find out more about volunteering with Cats Protection. You'll have a chance to meet some of our volunteers, learn more about our vital work with cats and discover how you can make a difference with our variety of volunteer roles.

Why volunteer with Cats Protection? We’re the country’s leading cat welfare charity, helping 200,000 cats every year through a variety of services. Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do and their support is vital to the continuation of our important work. Our volunteers enjoy a variety of benefits, some of which include:

  • Help cats Protection achieve their goal that every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of their needs
  • The opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of like-minded cat-lovers
  • Learn new skills and gain new knowledge
  • Make new friends
  • Indulge your passion for cats
  • Have fun!

Volunteers help us in a variety of ways. Here’s a taste of just some of the opportunities we currently have available:

  • Volunteer Driver
  • Birthday Party Host
  • Video Volunteer
  • Retail Assistant
  • Cat Care Volunteer
  • And much more!

The event runs from 12pm – 4pm on Sunday 5th March.

Tea, coffee and cake will be available from our welcoming Visitor Centre. Tours of the Adoption Centre will take place throughout the afternoon.
